I forgot to blog about this...
We had a fantabulous vacation, although I could have done without the driving. On our way, we stopped by Fairmont Springs Resort, Montana, an oasis of fun in the middle of nowhere--golf, indoor heated pool, outside pool with a winding water slide, a mini zoo. The spa treatment was worth every penny.
If you ever decide to drive through Montana, Fairmont Springs is worth stopping by for a few days. It's only 20 minutes away from Butte.
East Hope, outside Sandpoint Idaho, on Lake Pend Oreille, was our finally destination, same as last year. This time I actually went kayaking....yeah. The way children can be totally fearless amazes me. Open water scares beegeebees out of me. I don't mind the ocean but a lake, ohmigod I swear, I thought I was done for when I jumped in. As for the kids, they kept jumping into that lake as though it was a kiddie pool. Even my baby, 4, had no fear (although she had a life vest on).

Anyway, it was fun, fun , fun and tomorrow is school, YES!!
Mood: Very happy.

Wow. I would never picture a waterpark like that in Montana. LOL
